DC Named One of the Best Cities in America to Build a Happy Life

Now a recent study conducted by Joel Kotkin and Wendell Cox at the Daily Beast confirms what those of us that love the District already knew. D.C. is one of the top cities in the nation that offers the perfect balance of career opportunities and cultural stimulation.

The study takes into account the economic potential and job growth in American metropolitan areas, as well as demographic and quality of life factors, including cultural vibrancy and minimal traffic. The authors deem these to be “aspirational cities” where people go to “change their circumstances and improve their lives.”
